Traditional designs stand out. Here is a Dupatta which exactly does that. We have lines, end to end, simple but elegant design, which has traditional roots. Weavers were delighted to weave it, though it meant frequent thread change. The lines are distinct as they are handwoven. We want to associate the Zebra traits of individualism, free spirit, and distinctiveness with this Dupatta. As we are still debating on what to call this Dupatta design, we named it “Anamika”,  one which does not have a specific name. Monsoon in Kerala (“Kalavarsham”), is very special. Or rather, if one wants to experience different elements of monsoon, it can only happen in Kerala! The first rains of monsoon always bring these chocolaty-muddy water rushing through your yard, streams, streets,… everywhere. By the second and third rain, things get settled, the flowing water becomes clear, and the atmosphere rhythmic.
