This lampshade is handcrafted by our master bamboo weaver from Wayanad, Kerala, who likes to play with colours. Crafted by drawing inspiration from pineapple fruit, which is associated with good luck in many cultures, this decorative piece is designed to light up outdoor or indoor spaces.
Making this bamboo shade from bamboo collected from the forest is a long and laborious process. From cutting bamboo into thin strips, then dyeing them to obtain those stunning colours, and weaving them into beautiful lampshades, craft people pour their heart into making these shades for you. Take them home or gift them to loved ones. These lamp shades are perfect as housewarming gifts.
